Measuring wheel encoder
Measuring wheel encoders use a wheel to record linear movements and convert them into speed or position values. When a measuring wheel encoder is used, there is no need for a reference point on the surface being measured. That means that these encoders are an excellent choice for measurements on a wide range of different surfaces. An integrated spring ensures that the wheel exerts consistent pressure on the surface, thereby guaranteeing slip-free measurements.
