15 years of SICKinsight!
Our international customer magazine SICKinsight, that was first published in 1998, today appears in 12 languages in 27 countries. In Germany, the magazine is published twice a year: the first issue appears in May and the second issue comes out in November. The customer magazine does not only contain interesting customer application stories, but it also informs you about the newest products being introduced by SICK. Furthermore, it provides you with news from SICK as well as some interesting facts from the fields of business and technology.
SICKinsight 01/13: THIS IS SICK Sensor Intelligence.
This issue of SICKinsight has an entirely new design and focuses on the challenges of logistics automation. The intelligent sensor solutions from SICK are designed for the highest possible flexibility and efficiency, no matter what the challenge may be in detail. With regard to building automation, we also offer a large number of sensor solutions, even in more sophisticated environments as in museums for the protection of exhibits.
Learn in the factory automation focus how SICK, as a competent partner successfully masters the challenges in the areas of flexible automation, safety, track and trace, and quality control. SICK sets standards wherever the bottom line is improving quality and advancing processes.

SICKinsight online
In early May 2012, SICKinsight was launched as an online customer magazine. SICKinsight online is a magazine to be published on an ongoing basis but without a fixed publication schedule. At www.sickinsight-online.com, SICK will not only introduce new products but also present interesting live interviews. In addition, the site will feature videos of applications showing how we solved the most varied challenges presented by our customers around the globe. SICKinsight can be accessed at any time from anywhere, via tablet computer, for instance. Just have a look at what is new!

For this issue of SICKinsight we have chosen the main technological emphasis of "industrial communication and device integration" because our sensors are open to all system worlds prevailing in automation. Many solutions call for simple, application-compatible integration of the sensors into these automation worlds. Consequently, we are pursuing platform strategies in the areas of connectivity and network technology as well as in the field of software modules.
